Jared roared. A roar so strong that it shook Planet Astraphnet. Jared had no idea that he had that in him. He stayed there, and eventually fell into a deep sleep on the wise man until dawn.

Darfur and get a lot of people involved. . 450,000+ people have been killed and 2.5 million have been displaced from their homes. We are raising awareness about
Darfur, by getting people involved with International Darfur Day. A lot of people have died in
Darfur and we need to stop this genocide. This is our global responsibility. The genocide in
Darfur has been going on for five years now. The Sudanese government hired the janjaweed to keep the
They have been going through communities, shooting, raping women, and bombing huts of innocent people. The janjaweed are not going to stop unless we do something. Our country needs to do more to help the people in
Darfur. We need to get the things that are happening in

In chapters one through four there are many cruel things that happen. Frederick Douglass experienced many brutal tortures given to the slaves around him. A slave named Demby refused to get out of the creek after threee calls and was shot by a coldhearted master, named Mr. Gore. Mr. gore was a young overseer, but he made no jokes, and seldom smiled. Another overseer, Mr.Giles Hicks’s wife was also a cold murderer. She murdered Fredericks’s wife’s cousin, by breaking her nose and breastbone witha stick. This autobiography by Frederick Douglass is very intense, and gives an image of what his life was like

Frederick Douglass has been called the father of the civil rights movement. He rose from slavery to become the leading Afican-American voice of the nineteenth century. He served as advisor to presidents. For example, Abraham Lincoln. he served as U.S Marshal of the District of Columbia during Rutherford B. Hayes’ adminstration and President James Garfield appointed him to be the US minister to Haiti. he refined his reading, writing and speaking skills. Frederick Douglass was a compelling force in the anti-slavery movement. He was a man of moral authority, and he developed into a charismatic public speaker. he established his own weekly abolitionist newspaper, the North Star, that became a major voice of African American Fifty-Forth massachusetts Volunteers. Douglass and an abolitionist and feminsist Elizabeth Cady Stanton, signed the Declaration of Sentiments that became the movement’s manifesto. frederick Douglass died on February 1895. Frederick Douglass

Dear Councilmember Trachtenberg,

I think that if we get more people in America aware of the things happening in Darfur, then more people will help and divest money to help. Over 400,000 people have killed and many more have been raped or mained from their homes. This is something that would definetly fet the people of America motivated to do something.

The ‘ Who’s Darfur Syndrome ” is really affecting America and there is little media coverage of Darfur. In June 2005 CBS ran 50 times over Michael Jackson, than Darfur and probably mentioned Darfur once. Montgomery county is one of the most diverse places in the world and has always promoted ethnic tolerance and justice. So, we could divest money to help Darfur.

It’s worthwhile to post projects online, because it allows other people to see our projects, and this motivates me to work harder. Our group decided to post our final project, by putting everything we did onto the page. We used Animoto.com ,for the videos ,google.com/images for the images to put into the videos. The rules for posting online is that we only use our first names, we don’t write inappropriate things,we don’t give personal information.http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=dxnhpgh_0hdpkqx5k&hl=en
